Administration thanks people for standing firmly in face of US-Israeli aggression

Administration spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, referring to the continuous US-Israeli aerial attacks on civilian homes and public infrastructure across Iran, has expressed gratitude to the people and emergency services for their firmness and commitment in the face of the enemy's aggression.

In a televised address on Saturday, Mohajerani, on behalf of the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian, first thanked Iranians for their heroic and enthusiastic presence in the International Quds Day rallies, saying that the people of Iran conveyed their message to the world, defying the enemy bombardment on Friday.

She also saluted the people for maintaining their nightly presence on the streets and squares of cities across the country, demonstrating their commitment to Iran and the Islamic Revolution.

Referring to the US-Israeli aggression over the past 15 days, Mohajerani said that nearly 43,000 non-military infrastructures have been damaged in the enemy strikes, of which, 36,469 were residential units, including 10,000 units are in Tehran province.

6,179 commercial units have also been damaged or destroyed in the US and Israeli attacks, she added.

On the civilian casualties, the spokesperson said the number of female martyrs has risen to 223, while over 2,000 other female civilians injured in the indiscriminate US-Israeli bombing of Iran so far.

While expressing gratitude to all emergency response forces and medical staff, Mohajerani reported the attacks on 43 emergency units resulting in the complete destruction of three of them and the damage of 32 ambulances.

Extending her condolences over the martyrdom of 16 healthcare workers, the administration spokesperson said 3 ambulance buses, and 35 medical units and 152 health facilities were affected.

She also spoke about the death and destruction to other non-military centers, saying 120 schools had suffered severe damage, while the number of teacher and student martyrs has risen to 206 since the launch of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.

Mohajerani also pointed to the deliberate enemy attacks on villages, squares, historical and cultural landmarks, including UNESCO-registered sites.
